Winners of 2022-23 Men’s and Ladies 60 and Over State Pairs: Bowls Wimmera Playing Area

The Wimmera Bowls Playing Area played the Ladies and Men’s State 60 and over Pairs Championships at Coughlin Park Bowling Club on the 2nd and 3rd of November 2022.

The winners were the Horsham City Bowling Club Pairs of Betty Cozens and Sandra Knight (s) in the Ladies and Govan Bellinger and Kevin Clyne in the Men’s section.

In the Finals, Knight and Cozens defeated Jill Coutts and Norma Hair (s) from the Horsham Sunnyside Bowling Club and Clyne and Bellinger defeated Bob Schneider and Phill Henseleit (s) from the Nhill Bowling Club.

The winners will play against the winning pairs from the Grampians, North Central and North Wimmera Playing Areas in December to determine the 60 and Over State Champions for the Wimmera Bowls Region.
